Changes you can make to receive more money



Anyone who has money has accepted receiving it. Accept it. If you want more money, read on.

  • If you don't have money or enough money, stop refusing it or thinking you're unworthy of it. Instead, accept it. Then do something wise with it. You're worthy of receiving more of it. Accept it.
  • Stop focusing on why you don't have it, and stay focused on how you can generate even more of it. You can generate more of it. Accept it.
  • Create value for others that they're willing to pay for, and make sure they know what it is, why it's valuable, where to get and how to pay you for it.
  • And if you're employed, create more value for the organisation. One way is to learn stuff that makes you more valuable. Skills are good things to learn. And stop being a prick about your manager behind their back. Nobody likes to pay unkind people more money. Be kind, be nice, be wise, be value-adding, choose your opportunities, help people win, including your manager, and you'll be rewarded. Think.
  • Accept that you will have to do some extra work, or work in extra areas, or work at changing the sort of work you do, or start working, to generate the value.

You going to have to change something to get from where you are to the next higher level of where you are destined to be. And that something is the way you think, the way you apply yourself, and your work ethic. Can you do it? Yes. You can. You've come this far, so you definitely can!

Where is the mythical place that the Proclaimers would walk 1000 miles to? For a start the assumptions in the map in the image is wrong. And while mountainous regions would skew the radius of possibility, let me explain why I think her door is in Italy. I began assuming that her door, where he falls down, would have to be 500 miles from the chunnel exit in France. 3 Tips to Stop being your own Bottleneck

When did you realise that you're the bottleneck to your own progress? For me, it was when I realised I was buying lots of apps, software and courses to help me progress, but I wasn’t using them. I’d start using them, then ... I’d stop. I knew I needed to write more, create more, produce more, but I wasn’t doing it. And it frustrated me. Notice that your procrastination makes you frustrated You know how you just get busy? You just have to do that other thing. And it's an important other thing. The 9.2% Club - on successful resolutions, cats, self-help and thinking about thinking

This morning I began reading a book I bought over a decade and a half ago. When I bought it, I thought it would be beneficial, but I didn't take the action to realise the benefits. I hadn't made the time. Until now. Why does intention to action sometimes take over 15 years to happen? How can we shrink that time delay to benefit far more immediately from the wisdom we're presented with? The book is titled  50 Self-Help Classics a by Tom Butler-Bowden, 2001. Ah, the irony. Butler-Bowden writes, self-help is "the refusal to accept 'common unhappiness' or 'quiet desperation' as the lot of humankind." He continues, "To make the most of life, we need things like vision, emotional intelligence, ethics, an awareness of history and a thirst for knowledge and ideas.
