Starting your New Year's Resolutions today = 526% more success

Image
Starting your New Year's Resolutions today = 526% more success. If you start your New Year's Resolutions today, you will be 526% more likely to succeed at them. When you start your New Year's Resolutions today, rather than wait until New Year's Day, you're 526% more likely to succeed at achieving those resolutions. Because you're 5 times more likely to be committed to delivering the OUTCOME rather than just the annual intention if you start in December. Okay, here's the breakdown: 100% -- Because 1st Jan is when you're supposed to declare rather than actually do anything. That's why most resolutions are abandoned or forgotten by 17 Jan. Because the goal is to declare rather than do. And as soon as we go back to work we forget about the new and get back into the old. 200% -- Because the new you starts today, not some other day, and you want to start the new year already running, not fluffing around looking for your brand new gym shoes...

Your best, most positive and accurate New Year forecast!

Image
This is your best, most positive and accurate New Year forecast... Because I'm fascinated about people's desire to read a forecast of their fortunes for the new year, I thought I'd write one, an awesome one. A strologers publish calendar year or lunar new year horoscopes all over the world, but what if it contains bad news? (The one I wrote for you doesn't: it's awesome.) D uring Chinese New Year there is enormous interest in how the coming year will pan out. In Singapore for example, huge boards go up in public areas during Chinese New Year and crowds gather to read forecasts of their health, happiness, relationships and wealth prospects for the year ahead. Now while I don't believe in any of that stuff, I do know that our expectations of the future will influence our mindset and the degrees to which we take action. So our expectations of the future can often create that future. Then surely it's a good idea to lock on to a version of the new year that ...

3 Action Cycles to Start Creating Wealth

Image
Basics: 3 Action Cycles to Start Creating Wealth. It's not rocket science, but it's a straightforward process. These actionable strategies only require you and some time, and you can start from any wealth level. Even the "miserable wealth" level. :) If you're miserable about not being wealthy, there are usually 3 actions you haven't taken. Get these three things done and moving and you'll likely stop being miserable and start getting wealthier. Action Step 1: Define your wealth goal immediately Define what being wealthy is for you. "Having more than now" is not a suitable definition because finding 20 cents on the pavement will meet that criteria, yet it doesn't transform your life. In Richard Templar's book The Rules of Wealth , he shared how a friend defined being wealthy as when he could live off the interest earned from the interest earned on his earned stash. So his stash earns interest, and the interest earned on the int...

Changes you can make to receive more money

Image
Anyone who has money has accepted receiving it. Accept it. If you want more money, read on. If you don't have money or enough money, stop refusing it or thinking you're unworthy of it. Instead, accept it. Then do something wise with it. You're worthy of receiving more of it. Accept it. Stop focusing on why you don't have it, and stay focused on how you can generate even more of it. You can generate more of it. Accept it. Create value for others that they're willing to pay for, and make sure they know what it is, why it's valuable, where to get and how to pay you for it. And if you're employed, create more value for the organisation. One way is to learn stuff that makes you more valuable. Skills are good things to learn. And stop being a prick about your manager behind their back. Nobody likes to pay unkind people more money. Be kind, be nice, be wise, be value-adding, choose your opportunities, help people win, including your manager, and you'll...
